Methodology

The model is the technical contract of the project.

Our process follows ISO 19650: information requirements defined up front, production in a common data environment and verification before every delivery.

Software
Revit · Navisworks · Civil 3D · Solibri · BIM 360
Interoperability
IFC 4 · BCF 2.1 · COBie
STAGE 01
Requirements

Capture of the client exchange information requirements (EIR), definition of model uses and drafting of the BEP. Without this step, scope and LOD stay open to interpretation.

Output: approved BEP, responsibility matrix, CDE folder structure.
2 to 3 weeks
STAGE 02
Production

Modeling by discipline with a weekly standards check: naming, mandatory parameters, shared coordinates and levels.

Output: discipline models versioned in the CDE.
per project schedule
STAGE 03
Coordination

Model federation, clash rounds following the test matrix and fortnightly meetings recorded in BCF.

Output: clash report with status and evidence of resolution.
15-day cycles
STAGE 04
Delivery and as-built

Final rule-based checking, validated IFC export and updating of the model to match what was built.

Output: as-built model, final quantities and information dossier.
at the end of each phase

LOD scale adopted

LOD 200

Generic elements with approximate size and position. Use: feasibility and massing studies.

LOD 300

Specific geometry with defined size and orientation. Use: coordination and permitting.

LOD 400

Fabrication and assembly detail, with installation information. Use: construction and prefabrication.

LOD 500

Field-verified element, with operation and maintenance data. Use: facilities management.
